Celebrated 45 years of National Service (NS) with NSF and NSmen from the SAF, SCDF and SPF at The Float @ Marina Bay.
NS has helped us to build a strong SAF and Home Team, protected us from danger, and provided security and confidence so that we could build our economy and improve our lives.
Many NSmen have become fathers of NSF and NSmen (including me ). I was happy to meet quite a number of father and son pairs this evening. There are even a few three generation NS families!
On behalf of all Singaporeans, I thank all NSmen for your contributions to Singapore.
